Brain Tumor Survivor & Chair of Mark Linder Walk for the Mind:
On Saturday, September 24th, the 14th Annual Mark Linder Walk for the Mind will be held on the Peoria river front beginning at the RiverPlex at 9:30 a.m. We are pleased to announce that we will again support brain tumor research at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, IL. Last year, we donated $45,000 to their brain tumor research program and we are beginning to see some of the results of that research. Drs. Andrew Tsung and Kiran Velpula as well as others from their research team hope to be present at the Walk to share some of their most recent research with you.
Our sponsorship fees have remained at the same levels for several years as prior sponsors will note on the sponsor form. If others are interested in supporting this community endeavor, please go to our website page (http://www.marklinderwalkforthemind.org/sponsor-the-walk/) and either fill out the form online or print the form and mail to us. As always, donations of any size are welcome. “Mark Linder Walk for the Mind” is a 501(c)(3) organization.
